This is a Musical Theatre Performance class which concludes with a public
performance at the Palm Beach Improv at CityPlace. Students must audition to
be a part of the class which requires work outside of the group class time. This
course, which includes some private coaching time, focuses on the strengths of
each performer and challenges areas that need work. The Showcase
performance will feature solos, duets and ensemble numbers.

PRIVATE COACHING is available upon request from all InterACT instructors.
Hourly rates vary and may be prorated for the half- or three-quarter hour. For
audition preparation students may wish to partner for a one hour class.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
All classes require a commitment for the term of the full course. Course fees may be paid monthly: $65 per month; Musical Theatre classes are $250 for the course, audition through performance. A 10% discount may be taken for payment in full upon registration. In addition, all students new to InterACT are required to pay a onetime registration fee of $25. COURSE SCHEDULE
Classes begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and end on Thursday, May 27,
2010. Classes meet on days when school is in session based on the calendar
for the Palm Beach County School System. A complete list of dates for each
class will be posted on the InterACT Web Site and will be available at the Studio.

Who? What? When? Where? Why?
Who is InterACT for?
InterACT is for any young person interested in any aspect of drama: theatre, film or television. All students are grouped in classes according to their grade level and interest.
What is InterACT?
Now in our 12th season, InterACT Studio, Inc. opened in 1998 and is dedicated to offering opportunities for young people to explore and develop their talent and to provide an outlet for creative expression. Building self-esteem, developing communication and socialization skills, and becoming a better-informed arts patron are a few of the outcomes targeted by InterACT.
When is InterACT?
Courses and Private Coaching are offered throughout the school year. Some courses are for specific periods while others cover the span of the school year.
What is the cost? Tuition is based on the full term of the course and is broken down into equal monthly installments for your convenience. The first tuition installment is charged upon registration and then subsequently the 1st of each month. Full Tuition for Acting, audition and creative dramatics classes is $585 for the school year payable in nine installments of $65. Tuition for the Musical Theatre Performance Class is $250 for the term of the class payable in two installments of $125.
Who are the Instructors?
Richard Valentine is the founder and director of InterACT and an instructor too. Many of our staff return year after year including Brad Barfield, Robert Olson, Chris Carrano, and Musical Director and Vocal Coach 'Doctor' Randy Booth, among others. Each class also has an experiences high school-age counselor to assist with the class. They all know how to share their knowledge and experience with young people. InterACT maintains a students/instructor member ratio of about 10 to 1!
Do you put on a show?
At InterACT we focus on the individual child rather than putting on one big show. An exception is the Musical Theatre Performance class. From time to time instructors may choose to highlight student work on at www.YouTube.com/InterActFL.
